Only 2 days after we brought you some nice drinking stories in cycling we got to see this picture. The Australian cyclist Adam Hansen fully enjoyed the madness in the Tour de France on Thursday 18th of July. While all the fans were getting drunk and crazy on the mountain of Alpe d’Huez he decided to join them. He accepted an offered beer and had a cheers with the intoxicated fans. A true hero!
Epic shot!

Absolutely… If I’m not mistaken this is near the 7th turn where all the crazy Dutch were standing. Seems they were nicer to Hansen than Froome haha

Not sure that’s the ideal lunch for a prize athlete. Makes me thirsty just looking at it, after that climb. Still, I have a bottle of India Pale Ale in the fridge

Well it wasn’t really his time to shine, this stage… So he did the only right thing: enjoying the atmosphere!
I have a sneaky feeling you will open that bottle soon! Cheers buddy! 😀
