The first app by All Drink Games offers 3 drinking games to play.

As any other solid drinker we can appreciate a good drinking game once in a while. However, half of them require props like a dice or playing cards and with the other half of the games the rules are too difficult. Not to mention how a drunken crowd is likely to make up it’s own rules. The guys of All Drink Games launched a solution this week with a free android application for your mobile phone. Thanks to these French students you just have to reach into your pocket to play fun drinking games. Nicolas Cortell, one of the founders of All Drink Games, spoke with us about his passion for drinking games and his latest invention.

– Where does your fascination for drinking games come from?
“Well… The main thing is: I’m a student! So as a student, when i’m with my friends we like to play drinking games!”
– When and why did you came up with the website All Drink Games?
“It was about 4 month ago, I was in a beach party and we wanted to play drinking games. But no one took cards or dice so it was a little difficult to play. And as I study computer science, we decided (me and one of my friends) to build this website because there was no website like this which allows you to play drinking games directly on internet.”
– So now you start a new adventure with an android app. If I download this app, what can I do with it?
“Yes, this is the heart of our project. On the first version of the app you can find 3 games: the King, the Bizkit and the Reflex.
The King is a card game, the Bizkit is a dice game and the Reflex (my favorite) is a … reflex game. All are very funny and allow each players to have fun with his friends.”
– What people you think will find your app handy?
“This app is mostly for students, young adults. But also for everyone who doesn’t have deck of cards or dice to play drinking games.
If your grandma wants to play, she can!”
– Do you think your invention can have an impact on the existing drinking culture?
“Well, I’m thinking about putting this idea on nightclubs and bars and I think this time it will really impact on the drinking culture.
For the moment, we’re developing our brand, showing our products, what we do and our way of thinking to spice up your parties.”
How are the first reactions now that you launched the app?
“For the moment, we have only good reactions about our app. People are happy to see our work and be able to play drinking games with our app instead of using the website. So it’s a very good beginning.”
Any big plans for the future?
“Well, for the moment with our first version we have 3 games. But in the future we would like to do a lot more. We want to develop 3 more games and include a list of the rules of 20 other drinking games. Also we want to developour app for Apple devices. This is all a big challenge but I’m hopeful we can do this. Also this app will still be free. We really just want to offer this app to every person who wants to play drinking games with his or her friends.”

  1. Hello fantastic website! Does running a blog such as this take a great deal of work?
I’ve absolutely no understanding of programming but I had been hoping to start my own blog soon.
Anyhow, should you have any suggestions or techniques for new blog owners please
share. I understand this is off topic however I just had to ask.
