You ever have problems finding good drinking company? You could of course turn to social media and find some buddies online, but what if you get a real kick out banging those glasses together with someone? Well, the answer comes from Asia, where a Korean named Eunchan Park invented a drinking robot. Like some of you friends might, ‘Drinky’ will never stop asking for a refill and once that glass is full, he will raise it to cheers with you.
Drinky was invented to keep lonely drinkers out of a serious depression. We kid you not. Park came up with the idea at Christmas three years ago, which he spent drinking alone. This may seem a bit drastic, but we have to add that Koreans have a real ‘ shots culture’ According to research by Euromonitor they even lead the world ranking in consumption of spirits.
Now for all of you worried that good alcohol will go to waste on a robot that can’t even taste it, fear not. Drinky can be placed on top of a jar, that will capture the booze for recycling (check video below). Besides waving for more and raising for a cheers, the Korean robot also gets a red glow in the face after each shot. Before he’s thirsty again of course.

Hahaha I like that karaoke option. Always a fun activity when you’re piss-drunk. 😀
