The simple lesson to be learned here: don’t get drunk on the streets in India.
When you drink hard, you might find yourself waking up in very strange places. However in some countries it’s quite risky to drink till you drop. A drunk man in India was taking a well-deserved nap outside a liquor store today, when he was discovered by a huge python. Unfortunately it was just around lunch time for the large snake, that smothered and ate him. The incident happened in the Attapadi area in the state Kerala. So if you ever have plans to go there on holiday, you better wait to get drunk until you’re safe and sound in your hotelroom.

OK if the guy is comatosed, Mr snake thinks he does not need to kill him so swollows him still alive! slice open mr snakes tummy and let the drunk out!! quickly before he runs out of oxygen!!! Everybody knows that this snake will not eat now for maybe 4 months while he digests this alcohol saturated morsal, so does that mean the snake is going to intoxicated for three months then a hang over for ( from my own stats.) 3 times longer than it took to get intoxicated??! Poor little snakey, he only wanted a snak!

You’d have to be very drunk to lie there without resisting or calling out for help while an Indian Rock Python consumed you whole. Oreven dead. And quite small. Or exist in the imagination of someone with access to some basic image-editing software.

This doesn’t make sense to me. I watched a snake eat a bullfrog once (not by choice, it was behind my car that was in my garage, and I coldn’t pull out or I’d run over it.) It took almost an hour. Wouldn’t someone have seen a snake trying to swallow a whole human, especially since it was right in front of a liquor store, and intervene before it went to far? What a way to go. Poor fellow.

In Romania is a saying: “The drunk has his god”. It is run over by car, train or tram if a drunk falls on the street nothing happens, not even a scratch, if drunk is covered by snow not sick and do not even drown if it falls into the water. So certainly a drunk can not be eaten by a snake.

Not true. It is physically impossible for a python or constrictor to cosume an adult as the jaws cannot pass the shoulders. There have been rare occasions where snakes have eaten people, although these rare incidents have usually involved children (under 12) Certainly a huge snake may constrict a human to death but this to is rear an mostly defencive in nature.

No it’s illegal in some Muslim populated area’s and elsewhere on holidays or election days. Since it’s a huge country every state has it’s own rules regarding alcohol.

The largest snakes can’t swallow humans. They have been know to try but can’t get past a the shoulders. I saw one on discovery channel that actually choked to death try to swallow a 5 foot tall asian man that only weighed about 120lbs.

Physiologically a Burmese or Indian python cannot eat a man due to the shoulders being too broad for the mouth. Secondly, these fake posts spread fear and paranoia about snakes which are killed out of fear. Under Indian law, all snakes are protected but thanks to you, people will fear and kill snakes. Bravo. Well done for having spread paranoia.
