Python eats drunk man in India

The simple lesson to be learned here: don't get drunk on the streets in India.

The simple lesson to be learned here: don’t get drunk on the streets in India.

When you drink hard, you might find yourself waking up in very strange places. However in some countries it’s quite risky to drink till you drop. A drunk man in India was taking a well-deserved nap outside a liquor store today, when he was discovered by a huge python. Unfortunately it was just around lunch time for the large snake, that smothered and ate him. The incident happened in the Attapadi area in the state Kerala. So if you ever have plans to go there on holiday, you better wait to get drunk until you’re safe and sound in your hotelroom.

  1. So the drunk was five or six yeare old child of skiny complexion, because thats more or less the real size of the prey in the snake, like a midiun size dog or a lamb… That reticulated Python is more or less 4 metres long. Trust me I’m a herpetologist, biologist who does study reptiles 😉

  2. Disgusting. The world’s turned upside down when reptiles eat human beings. This animal should be burned, and all like it should be hunted down and burned in kind.

  3. picture definitely NOT from India… thuk thuk is the wrong style (looks like Thailand maybe?) also, nobody in the background is Indian (in fact, they mostly look like westerners). is the “article” claiming that the snake ate a man outside a liquor store, and then climbed up into a thuk thuk? what, for a ride back to the jungle b/c he was too full to slither there? BS…

  5. It’s also very, very bullshit. That pic is fake and has been floating around the net for years with different stories attached to it. Never mind the fact that it’s a reticulated python and they are not native to India.

  8. i’ve no idea.
does the python just swallow it (without poisoning the man) ? I mean: if he was found,, can they cut open the python and save the man?
    maybe within 20 mins?
